Double Glazed Sealed Units- Our double glazed sealed units are custom made from clear or frosted glass. Double glazed sealed units are two lites, or panes of glass, that are held apart by a spacer, sealed, and placed into an opening. Each sealed unit is designed to reduce the energy cost incurred in daily temperature control. Cool air is kept inside during the merciless summer; conversely, costly heat is conserved throughout frigid winters. Glass is a good conductor of heat, so a single pane window does not insulate very well. Because air is a poor conductor of heat, the air gap between the two lites reduces heat conduction between the two panes and drastically improves insulation and energy efficiency in heating or cooling a structure. Simply said, our sealed units help keep you warm in the winter and cool in summer and save you money on your energy bill.
