About Clearview

Clearview Home and Auto Glass began in 1993 as a one-man shop owned and operated by Richard Nelson. The original shop has long since been replaced with two larger facilities and the number of employees has grown to over a dozen. In the last fifteen years it has become one of Vancouver Island's largest manufacturers of double-pane insulating glass for use in doors and windows for residential and commercial buildings. Over 40 different window and door manufacturing outfits on Vancouver Island use sealed-units from Clearview for their products.

In recent years Clearview has begun investing more in advanced technology glass processes. Their facility on Bowen Road has a newly acquired computer-controlled engraving machine and the shop on Bollinger has both an automated sealed-unit manufacturing line and a computer-controlled glass cutting machine.
